RTLzwei is restructuring its Thursday evening lineup: Starting August 13, a continuous comedy block will air from 8:15 PM, beginning with reruns of "Genial daneben". The network announced this in a press release. At 9:15 PM, new episodes of the game show "Dinge gibt's!" with host Panagiota Petridou will follow, and from 10:15 PM, four stage programs by well-known comedians will be shown. The new episodes will be available in advance on the streaming service RTL+.
The Show's Format
In "Dinge gibt's!" six celebrity guests compete against each other in teams of two, estimating the value of unusual objects and services. The teams take turns selecting the items they believe have the highest price. Each team then places one item per round, and the highest value wins the trick. Whoever collects the most tricks at the end wins the victory and the champion trophy.
Among the questions posed in the new episodes are the price of a scoop of the world's most expensive ice cream and the question of whether a used piece of chewing gum from Britney Spears costs more than an Egyptian noble title. In the past, topics included the value of a ceramic vase, a rare stamp, or a private concert by Helene Fischer.
These Celebrities Will Compete
Among the announced competing teams are Virginia and Andrew Weiß, Senna Gammour and Ross Antony, as well as Anna-Carina Woitschack and Özcan Cosar. Also competing against each other will be Isi Glück and Johann Lafer, Alessia Herren and Gülcan Kamps, as well as Marcel Maurice Neue and Alexander Freund from the series "Berlin - Tag & Nacht".
Also participating, according to the network, are Flying Uwe, Joey Kelly, Daniela Büchner, Jada Karabas, Liza Waschke, Lutz Schweigel, Maxi Gstettenbauer, and Paul Janke.
Four Stage Programs to Follow
After the game show, the network will air a 90-minute stage program starting at 10:15 PM. Martin Rütter will be seen with "Der tut nix", Herr Schröder with "World of Lehrkraft", a program about school life. Johann König addresses family life in "Milchbrötchenrechnung", and Eckart von Hirschhausen will perform with "Endlich".
