Royal brothers Prince Harry (41) and Prince William (44), who are considered to be estranged, reportedly haven't met in years. Due to a sad anniversary, they could reunite in 2027 for the first time, as the British "Daily Mail" speculates.

Next year marks the 30th anniversary of the death of Princess Diana (1961-1997), the mother of both brothers. Several events are said to be planned under the leadership of the Diana Award to commemorate Lady Di's legacy. The charitable organization aims to empower young people to positively change the world. Both William and Harry are supporters.

In recent years, the two princes have alternately participated in different Diana Award events. An anonymous source from the organization reportedly explained that behind the scenes, they have always been careful to maintain a balanced ratio regarding the brothers' participation in events.

Still in Early Planning Phase

According to insiders, the organization is already planning several events for 2027, with a glamorous gala scheduled as the highlight. Both would reportedly like to attend significant events honoring their late mother - and so a meeting could occur during this allegedly planned celebration. In this case, both Harry and William are said to be invited.

It would be the first public encounter in several years. The last time the brothers were photographed together was at the funeral of their grandmother Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away in 2022.

According to the report, neither William's nor Harry's representatives have commented on the matter. The Palace declined to comment. A spokesperson for the Diana Award confirmed that they are in an early planning phase for events, but that no plans have been agreed upon nor decisions made regarding anyone's participation.

During the Invictus Games?

According to the report, the gala could likely fall during a time when Prince Harry is expected to be in Great Britain anyway. The Invictus Games are considered a passion project for founder Harry, who is expected to attend the sporting event as always.

The next games for injured and ill soldiers as well as veterans will take place starting July 10, 2027 in Birmingham. The younger son of King Charles III (77) recently traveled to the English metropolis to ring in the one-year countdown to the opening.
