For years they lived in separate homes, but now they are said to have been living under one roof again for some time: Will Smith (57) and Jada Pinkett Smith (54) have apparently reorganized their marriage both spatially and emotionally. As an insider revealed to the US magazine People, Pinkett Smith moved back in with her husband two years ago. "They are happy, love each other, and are as committed as ever to supporting one another," the magazine quotes the source as saying.

The couple has been married since 1997. In 2023, Pinkett Smith caused a stir when she publicly revealed that the two had been living separately since 2016. Later, sources close to the actors said that despite living in separate residences, they were still a couple.

The fact that the Smiths have long been publicly celebrating their connection again was recently evident on multiple occasions. On June 24, the family appeared together at the Christian Louboutin Spring/Summer 2027 menswear show during Paris Fashion Week - in support of son Jaden (27). On the red carpet, Will and Jada posed together with daughter Willow (25), Will's son Trey (33), whom the Oscar winner has with his ex-wife Sheree Zampino, as well as Jada's mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris.

"We have deep love for each other"

Both have repeatedly spoken openly about the ups and downs of their relationship. Before the release of her memoir Worthy, Pinkett Smith explained in 2023 that she and her husband were still working things out for themselves. "We just have a deep love for each other and we're going to figure out what that looks like for us," she said at the time. "I'm going to be by his side - but also allow him to figure that out for himself."

In January 2025, a source confirmed to People again that the two were "still together" but had maintained "separate homes for years." In September 2025, Pinkett Smith celebrated her 54th birthday surrounded by family - Will included.
