Quiz fans can rejoice: "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" starts its next season with new episodes at the end of the month. Starting August 31, the popular quiz show with Günther Jauch (70) returns to RTL's programming.
Contestants will once again compete with knowledge, nerves of steel, and a bit of luck for the million-dollar question. Since its launch in 1999, "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" has been one of the most successful and well-known quiz formats on German television.
New Episodes and Popular Specials Planned
In the new season, RTL is once again planning several special editions. Among others, the popular "3 Million Euro Week" and the "Celebrity Special" as part of RTL's charity marathon are scheduled.
While celebrities compete for a good cause in the "Celebrity Special," the "3 Million Euro Week" attracts viewers with special game rules and higher chances of winning.
