A burglary occurred at Mehmet Scholl's (55) home. A man allegedly attempted to get into bed with the former Bayern professional's daughter. However, the former soccer player's daughter fought back and the intruder was restrained until the police arrived. She speaks with the "Bild" newspaper about the incident.

Suspect allegedly ate and showered

According to the report, a man entered the house through an open patio door. The 48-year-old suspect allegedly both ate and showered there. Afterwards, the man allegedly entered the bedroom of Scholl's daughter, where she was sleeping next to her boyfriend.

"This crazy person broke into my father's house where my boyfriend and I were sleeping. When he tried to get into bed with me in our bedroom, my boyfriend and I beat him up thoroughly", she tells the daily newspaper. They then restrained the man until the police arrived. Mehmet Scholl also reportedly rushed to help. The man, who was arrested accordingly, was taken to a psychiatric facility.

Police confirm operation in Solln

The Munich Police Headquarters confirmed in a press release dated June 16 that a 48-year-old German man gained non-violent access to a single-family home in the Solln district on Monday at approximately 2:00 a.m. The suspect remained unnoticed in the house for some time before he "got into a bed with his lower body unclothed". In this bed were a 20-year-old woman and her 24-year-old partner.

Both woke up and there was a "scuffle" between the 48-year-old and the 24-year-old man, which woke up the 55-year-old homeowner. The intruder was able to be restrained until the police arrived, was provisionally arrested and was charged with, among other things, "attempted coercion and trespassing". Since the man showed "psychological abnormalities", he was placed in a psychiatric facility. Scholl's name is not mentioned in the statement.
