After their dream wedding in New York last weekend, fans worldwide are asking themselves one thing above all: Where are Taylor Swift (36) and Travis Kelce (36) spending their honeymoon? The answer at present: Officially, nothing is known about it.
Official: JUST&T MARRIED!
While numerous tabloid media outlets are speculating about possible destinations, the two stars are consistently keeping quiet. So far, neither Swift nor Kelce nor their representatives have released details about a honeymoon trip - and moreover, they haven't shared any details of the wedding itself on their Instagram accounts either. Instead, there is speculation about a wedding documentary about the strictly shielded event. After all, numerous prominent guests were also spotted arriving on site.
The only thing confirmed by Swift's representative to People magazine was that the pop star and the football star exchanged vows at a ceremony in Madison Square Garden in New York City. The romantic event was also announced by several illuminated signs on the exterior of the building, which read JUST&T MARRIED!
Short vacation and another wedding instead of honeymoon
Regarding the honeymoon, on the other hand, silence continues to prevail. According to TMZ, Swift and Kelce are not planning a longer break directly after the wedding. Instead, further private appointments were initially scheduled - including attending the wedding of NFL star JuJu Smith-Schuster (29) to his fiancée Laura Kruk on July 11 at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel in Dana Point, California. Only afterwards might the couple travel.
However, a limited time window argues against a longer trip. Travis Kelce will be expected at his football team's training camp shortly, which traditionally begins in mid to late July. This year, the Kansas City Chiefs training camp starts, according to nfl.com, with the arrival of new players at Missouri Western State University on July 24. The first public training session for all fans, at which the experienced players - including Kelce - will also be present, is scheduled for July 30 according to the team. The last public training session will take place on August 20 accordingly.
By then at the latest, his focus will be fully back on preparing for the new NFL season. A honeymoon trip would therefore - if at all - only be possible approximately between July 12 and 28.
Honeymoon speculation
Nevertheless, numerous speculations are circulating on the internet. Destinations mentioned include the Bahamas, Lake Como in Italy, the Côte d'Azur, Greece, or Fiji. For none of these destinations is there yet any solid evidence. All reports are based on anonymous insiders or were picked up by tabloid media.
That Swift and Kelce are consistently protecting their privacy is hardly surprising, however. Even their wedding was organized under high security measures and took place largely shielded from the public. All the more remarkable is that so far there are neither photos nor confirmed information about a possible honeymoon.
