Mats Hummels (37) continues to dedicate himself fully to the World Cup. Away from professional obligations, he was apparently able to enjoy the tournament privately this time. On Sunday, the TV expert and former national team player attended the round of 16 match between Norway and Brazil. However, the 37-year-old did not take his seat alone in the stands at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

In matching white outfits

Photos show him together with partner Nicola Cavanis (27). Dressed in white shirts and wearing sunglasses, the couple shared a kiss in the stands. Mats Hummels also documented the stadium visit with an Instagram post, though his girlfriend is not visible in the pictures. Nicola also captured her World Cup outing with a photo of herself in an Instagram story.

Hummels showed himself impressed by Norway's victory against Brazil in a story. "What a story for Norway", he commented on the match. He also congratulated the players Julian Ryerson (28), whom he called a "fighter", and Erling Haaland (25), who is "not of this world".

The MagentaTV expert and the model also made a couple's appearance in a sports context in early June. The pair were among the Formula 1 star guests at the Monaco Grand Prix. Hummels also met up with old colleagues at the Audi garage: Lukas Podolski (41) and Mario Götze (34). Together with racing driver Nico Hülkenberg (38), they posed for a group photo, which they shared on Instagram. "The Germans in Monaco", Hummels wrote about it. The two have also been seen together at an NBA game in Berlin and at tennis in Stuttgart.

In 2024, Hummels and Cavanis used a red carpet appearance to make their relationship official. At the Ballon d'Or in Paris in October, they appeared together in public for the first time. Rumors that the two were a couple had surfaced shortly before.
