Newly married and with animal companionship: Taylor Swift (36) and Travis Kelce (36) are apparently traveling together with a dog during their honeymoon. In photos, available to the "Daily Mail" among others, a white Samoyed can be seen exiting Swift's private jet in Palm Beach on Sunday. A security guard was leading the animal on a leash.
The singer herself was not visible in the photos. Her husband Kelce, however, was photographed leaving the jet while taking care of the luggage. The Kansas City Chiefs football pro wore a white top, a red cap, and cream-colored pants.
Taylor Swift Previously a Cat Owner
The existence of the dog had previously become known through photos from the couple's wedding. In them, Swift and Kelce pose with the animal. Now the Samoyed appears to be accompanying them even on their honeymoon. According to a source, Kelce is said to have initiated the acquisition. The dog's name is not yet known.
There had been hints about a possible pet for some time. As early as March, a white Samoyed was spotted at an airport in the state of New York, jumping out of Swift's car. In the past, however, the singer had denied such an animal. On the "Tonight Show" with Jimmy Fallon, she explained that she had "never walked a dog, in Florida or maybe ever at all".
For Swift, the dog is her fourth pet. The musician has been known primarily for her three cats Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button, who have appeared in music videos and been featured on magazine covers.
Wedding at Madison Square Garden
Swift and Kelce got married on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York. Around 1,000 guests were invited. Both bride and groom wore Christian Dior, as the couple's spokesperson announced. Instead of bridesmaids, Swift's brother Austin took on an honorary role at her side, while Kelce's brother Jason served as best man. Swift and Kelce have been together since 2023 and got engaged last August.
