Philipp Stehler (38), known from the RTL dating show "Die Bachelorette", and his wife Vanessa have become parents for the second time. The couple announced the birth of their daughter this Monday on Instagram. In the accompanying video, recorded at the hospital, Vanessa can be seen together with their three-year-old son Tommi. The parents introduce the boy to his little sister for the first time.

The couple's message

The couple wrote alongside the post: "You can't prepare for this moment... Our son sees our daughter for the first time. His little sister! We couldn't be prouder!" Stehler then addressed his wife directly: "And you couldn't have been stronger, Vanessa. By far the most beautiful video I've ever recorded!"

The couple had already announced in February that they were expecting a second child. In the months that followed, they regularly kept their followers updated on social media. The response to the birth was correspondingly large: numerous likes and congratulations quickly gathered under the post. "What a beautiful moment", wrote Fiona Erdmann (37), among others. "I'm moved to tears and I'm just incredibly happy for you and your wonderful family! Wishing you a wonderful time getting to know each other."

From "Bachelorette" contestant to family man

Stehler became known to a wider audience in 2015 when he came in third place on "Die Bachelorette". He later also appeared on the spin-off "Bachelor in Paradise". In addition, the actor landed a guest role on the series "Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten" and appeared on the Sat.1 scripted reality series "K11 - Die neuen Fälle". He met his partner Vanessa Ciomber away from the cameras. The couple has officially been together since December 2020 and married in spring 2023. Shortly after, on June 9, 2023, their son Tommi was born.

Stehler had also spoken publicly in the past about his severe intestinal disease. In the book "Mein Darm ist kein Arsch", he processes his diagnosis of the chronic intestinal disease ulcerative colitis.
