For the dinner in the magnificent setting, the French First Lady chose an appropriately elegant outfit. She appeared in a straight-cut, long-sleeved dress in black. A contrast was provided by the white lace that ran asymmetrically from the left shoulder to the right sleeve. She wore white pumps and carried a white clutch in her hand. She styled her hair in a low bun.
Her husband, the French President, wore a black suit with a white shirt and tie. Donald Trump appeared in a dark blue suit.
Tour through the Hall of Mirrors
Before the dinner together, Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron gave the U.S. President a tour of the famous Hall of Mirrors. The French head of state himself shared a photo of this on Instagram. "Where it all began. History seals the friendships of peoples", he wrote alongside the image.
The G7 summit in Évian had ended on Wednesday. Trump had traveled from there to Versailles. Later, he signed the framework agreement to resolve the Iran war at the palace, as the White House announced on X.
