Tennis icon Steffi Graf (57) was able to enjoy very special congratulations on her birthday. Her husband as well as their two children shared public well-wishes and posted private snapshots.
Andre Agassi calls her "my unicorn"
Andre Agassi (56) published a sweet Instagram post to mark the special day on Sunday. "Happy birthday, my unicorn", he wrote, addressing his wife. He posted a loving picture showing the couple sitting on a sofa and sharing a kiss.
The two children they share also honored Graf's birthday. In an Instagram story, daughter Jaz Elle (22) shared a photo showing the now 57-year-old on a boat tour holding a fish in her hand. She congratulated her "Momma" with numerous red hearts. Son Jaden Gil (24) posted a picture from childhood showing him in his mother's arms. He expressed his love for his "Ma".
Married for almost 25 years
Another major occasion is coming up this year: In the fall, the couple will already be celebrating their silver wedding anniversary. Graf and Agassi married on October 22, 2001 in an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas.
The two tennis stars keep their relationship and family life largely out of the public eye, but occasionally appear together at events. On the occasion of Steffi Graf's 50th birthday in 2019, Agassi gave a rare glimpse into their private happiness. The American shared with "Bild" newspaper what he admires most about his wife: "She lives by her values, stays true to them. She doesn't talk, she just lives. She has an outstanding spirit."
Asked about the secret of their long marriage, he said: "Two people who respect and love each other, in a way that combines discipline and commitment." He wishes every year that "she stays with me and that she stays with me for the next 20 years too".
