Fans rarely get to see this sight: TV host Sonja Zietlow (58) appeared on Thursday evening together with her husband Jens Oliver Haas (59) at the German Entertainment Awards ceremony in Cologne. Both posed together on the red carpet and beamed at the cameras for the photographers.
While Sonja Zietlow is regularly in the spotlight and known as the face of numerous TV successes such as the jungle camp, she has kept her private life largely out of the public eye for years. Joint appearances by the couple on the red carpet are a real rarity.
Zietlow and Haas are among the most enduring couples in the German television industry. The two first met in the 1990s during filming, tied the knot in 2002, and have been a well-coordinated team for many years - both privately and professionally. The couple lives in Munich and Mallorca.

Jens Oliver Haas has himself been successfully active in the television business for years. As a writer and producer, he has been involved in numerous comedy and entertainment formats, including work on the Harald Schmidt Show, RTL Samstag Nacht, and 7 Tage, 7 Köpfe.
He also works with his wife regularly, including as the longtime head writer of I'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here!. Many of the biting quips and comments for which Sonja Zietlow is celebrated in the jungle camp come from his pen. Since the first jungle camp season in 2004, Haas has also been the German voice of Dr. Bob.
