During the filming of the second season of the Sat.1 reality show "Villa der Versuchung" in Thailand, there was a medical incident involving Dolly Buster (56). The network confirmed the incident to the "Bild" newspaper: "Dolly Buster received medical care during the filming of 'Villa der Versuchung'. Viewers will see exactly what happened starting in August on Sat.1." At the same time, Sat.1 provided reassurance: "This much can be said in advance: No one needs to worry."
The network is leaving the exact nature of the incident unclear. "Bild" cites an insider source claiming that Buster complained of feeling unwell during production in the spring, possibly as a result of the heat. She was reportedly taken to a clinic and remained there for several days. She did not return to the reality show set after the hospital stay. A diagnosis is not known, and according to the report, Buster herself did not wish to comment when asked.
Broadcast starting August 3
The second season of "Villa der Versuchung" has already been completely filmed and will be available on Sat.1 and Joyn starting August 3. According to media reports, in addition to Buster, contestants include Jenny Elvers (54), Thorsten Legat (57), Nicolas Puschmann (35), and Annika Kärsten-Hoenig (41), among others, competing for the win.
For Buster, the incident comes during an already difficult time. In June 2025, her husband Josef "Dino" Baumberger died at the age of 81 from a heart attack. The former adult film actress and author has also struggled with health issues in recent years. After suffering sudden hearing loss in 2017, she increasingly withdrew from public life. She has also spoken openly on multiple occasions about depression and a severe tinnitus condition. "For years I have been very ill, suffering from depression and tinnitus", she told "Bild" in 2022.
