Zendaya (29) loves "method dressing". In London, the actress once again wore an outfit inspired by one of her film roles. At a photo call as part of the press tour for "The Odyssey", she appeared in a white halter dress with a matching headscarf. The outfit could almost have come from the wardrobe for the film, in which she portrays the goddess Athena. The deep, asymmetrical back cutout was particularly eye-catching.
Zendaya paired the look with historically significant jewelry: gold earrings from Barron London, which incorporate round discs from the 1st millennium BC. According to the label, the ancient elements originate from Iran. Simple white pumps completed her look.
Anne Hathaway also wears white
The other lead actors also appeared at the event on Sunday. Anne Hathaway, like Zendaya, wore a white halter dress, but opted for a mini version with ruffles. Zendaya's husband Tom Holland appeared in a casual outfit consisting of a brown leather jacket, an olive green shirt, and jeans. Robert Pattinson paired a shirt and jeans with a barn jacket.
Also in attendance were Matt Damon, Benny Safdie, and Lupita Nyong'o, among others. Director Christopher Nolan and his wife and co-producer Emma Thomas posed with the cast.
Zendaya impressed with spider web look
The event in London was the first public appearance of the "Odyssey" cast as part of the press tour. The film, an adaptation of Homer's epic of the same name, will be released in Germany on July 16, 2026.
Zendaya is currently very busy. The promotional tour for "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" began in mid-June, where she also appeared alongside her husband Tom Holland. There too, she opted for "method dressing" looks. She presented herself particularly glamorously at the London stop: there she wore a dark blue dress with a cloud print. The back of the Galliano dress was impressive, featuring a spider web made of delicate chains. Zendaya can be seen in German cinemas as MJ in the new "Spider-Man" film starting July 29.
