Suri Cruise (20), who now goes by Suri Noelle, has chosen the stage. The daughter of Katie Holmes (47) and Tom Cruise (64) is studying musical theater at the School of Drama at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, as "Page Six" reports. Until now, it had been said that the 20-year-old was leaning toward a degree in fashion.

She has just completed her second year of studies, and now the next role is said to be coming up. According to the celebrity news portal, Suri Cruise is set to appear in "Midsummer!", a modern adaptation of William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream". However, there has been no official confirmation from the university or the production so far.

Two Performances in Pittsburgh

The 90-minute production is set to be staged by Suri and other students from Carnegie Mellon University. It will be performed at the Peirce Studio of the Trust Arts Education Center in Pittsburgh in the state of Pennsylvania. Two dates are scheduled there, July 31 and August 1.

After that, the ensemble will travel to Great Britain. "Midsummer!" is set to make its debut there at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, which runs from August 7 to 31.

Already Gained Stage Experience

The stage is not entirely new to the student. In March, according to the report, she portrayed the character Angel in "Cosmic Microwave Background", a one-time staged reading at the New Hazlett Theater in Pittsburgh. The performance was part of the "CSA: Off the Page" series.

The 20-year-old has not publicly appeared under her father's last name since graduating from high school. After leaving LaGuardia High School in New York in June 2024, she used her mother's middle name and has since gone by Suri Noelle.

A Childhood With Her Mother

Holmes and Cruise became parents in April 2006, and married seven months later. After their divorce in August 2012, their daughter grew up with her mother. Holmes later said that she and Suri had, in a way, grown up together. According to "Page Six", there has been no close contact with her father for a long time.

Tom Cruise has two other children: Isabella (33) and Connor (31), whom he adopted during his marriage to Nicole Kidman (59). From 1987 to 1990, the actor was married to Mimi Rogers (70), who, according to the report, brought him into contact with the Church of Scientology.

Katie Holmes, for her part, is currently attracting attention with rumors of a new relationship. On July 21, the actress attended a Soho Sessions concert in New York together with New York artist Jason Bard Yarmosky. As "People" reports, the two held hands and left the event together.
