A divorce doesn't have to mean the end of a friendly relationship: Nicole Kidman (59) and Keith Urban (58) sent each other heartfelt messages via Instagram over the weekend - five months after their divorce. The occasion was two holidays on consecutive days.
Urban made the first move. The 58-year-old singer-songwriter congratulated his ex-wife on Saturday on her 59th birthday. In his Instagram story he wrote: "Happy Birthday, Nicole Mary!" - a reference to the actress's full name, Nicole Mary Kidman.

One day later, the Oscar winner returned the favor. On the occasion of American Father's Day, Kidman shared an older photo in her story of herself and her late father Antony Kidman as well as a photo of Urban with their daughters Sunday Rose (17) and Faith Margaret (15). In the black-and-white photo, the musician is carrying the two girls as small children on his back. Accompanying the two images, she wrote: "Happy Father's Day to all the fathers."
Kidman and Urban married in 2006. In September 2025, they publicly announced their separation after 19 years of marriage. In January 2026, the marriage was officially dissolved. Kidman was granted primary custody of their two daughters. Urban was granted the right to spend every other weekend with them.
