TV host and entrepreneur Cathy Hummels (38) created a heartwarming moment on the red carpet. Together with her son Ludwig (8), whom she usually keeps out of the public eye, Hummels attended the German film premiere of the animated movie "Minions & Monsters" in Munich on Sunday.
Fitting for the child-friendly occasion, the 38-year-old had her very own "Minion" by her side. Her son not only appeared at the Mathäser Filmpalast near Karlsplatz wearing a bright yellow t-shirt. He had also put on a color-coordinated cap and wore glasses typical of the chaotic and cuddly characters. To complete his outfit, the boy even wore black gloves despite the high temperatures.
His famous mother had also dressed up in (yellow) style for the film premiere. A floor-length dress with long sleeves picked up the color of Gru's little helpers, the main character of the "Ich - Einfach unverbesserlich" series, in a leopard print. She also wore one of the chunky "Minions" glasses as a funny accessory on her head.
Ludwig wasn't her only "Minion" of the evening
On her official Instagram account, Hummels provided more impressions from the premiere and revealed that her son was allowed to bring a bunch of friends his age to the cinema. In a video in her stories, you can see at least three more "Minions" bustling around her. "How cute are they", Hummels commented on the short clip.
In another video directly from the cinema auditorium, Hummels also revealed that she and her sweet crew apparently secured seats right in front of the Kaulitz twins Bill and Tom (36). The two Tokio Hotel stars lend their voices to two supporting characters in the German dubbing of the film, which opens in theaters on July 1st.
Ludwig comes from Cathy Hummels' marriage to former soccer player Mats Hummels (37). The two tied the knot in 2015. In 2022, after prolonged speculation, they confirmed their separation, which had already taken place. Their son Ludwig was four years old at the time.
