Disguised from head to toe, Kendall Jenner (30) and Jacob Elordi (29) wanted to remain unrecognized at Brisbane Airport - but the plan completely backfired. As the British "Daily Mail" reports, the pair were mocked online last weekend for their attempt to pass through the terminal as inconspicuously as possible. "Ridiculous and over the top", read one of the kinder verdicts.
Instead of staying under the radar, the duo, concealed with sunglasses, cap, scarf, mask and hoodie, attracted even more attention and promptly received ridicule from annoyed Australians. "You're actors, don't take yourselves so seriously", one user reportedly wrote on Instagram. Another commented: "Jacob and Kendall take themselves waaaay too seriously." A third was even more blunt: "You're in Australia. Nobody here cares who the heck you are."
$5,000 Bag Instead of Camouflage
The model in particular didn't really make herself invisible: Jenner wore a beige oversized trench coat over wide black pants and black shoes. She paired it with a striking, oversized green leather bag by The Row, valued at around $5,000.
For months, rumors have persisted about a relationship between Kendall Jenner and Jacob Elordi - the model and the actor have been spotted together multiple times, including during a presumed joint vacation in Hawaii. Kendall Jenner had traveled to Australia and spent several days at Elordi's secluded estate near Byron Bay, according to the report.
Another celebrity couple reportedly played a key role in their meeting: As "Page Six" reported in May, citing insiders, Justin and Hailey Bieber allegedly brought the two together in April at a Coachella afterparty.
