Marc Terenzi (47) wants to apologize to his daughter Summer, who settles scores with her father in a new song. In a conversation with "Bild" newspaper, he addresses Summer's (19) accusations and hopes to get a second chance.
Summer, who comes from Terenzi's previous marriage to Sarah Connor (46), published a snippet on Instagram on June 21 from the song "Daddy Issues". In English, Summer sings among other things: "My father never wanted children, he has always been a narcissist." When asked about such words from his daughter, Terenzi responds openly: "Summer is completely right."
Marc Terenzi clarifies one thing
Terenzi tries to explain himself. "Until a year ago, I was an alcoholic and addicted to substances and therefore couldn't be a good father. Which I deeply regret and am sorry about", says the singer. Everyone knows that he was in therapy and has changed. However, he wants to clarify one thing: "I always wanted to be a father. I want my children, I love my children."
Summer is "an adult, strong woman" and Terenzi must respect both the song and his daughter's behavior. He wants to make everything right, if possible, he indicates: "I wish that I can make it up to my children. [...] I hope to get a second chance."
Marc Terenzi was married to Sarah Connor between 2004 and 2010. In addition to Summer, the two also have a son together. The singer, who among other things participated in and won the jungle camp in the past, also has two other children.
