For Manuela Wisbeck (43), it's the end of an era on "Notruf Hafenkante" after 16 years. On Monday, the actress stood in front of the camera for the last time for the ZDF early evening series, in which she portrayed Frauke Prinz all these years. How much this turning point affected her became clear shortly thereafter on Instagram. There, she addressed her followers with a personal retrospective.
A chapter that remains
"16 years of 'Notruf Hafenkante' - what an incredible journey", Wisbeck wrote at the beginning of her post. She is grateful for the many beautiful moments and moving stories that this time held for her. Above all, however, her thanks go to the people who walked the path together with her.
She paid special respect to her colleagues. Their solidarity, friendship, and shared laughter left marks that would remain, the actress said. She also didn't fail to mention the fans. Over the years, they had been invested and accompanied her, and without this audience, Wisbeck emphasized, the journey would have been a different one.
Between nostalgia and anticipation
At the end of her post, the actress found words that captured her mixed feelings perfectly. "I look back with both a smiling and a crying eye - and with full anticipation looking forward", she stated. She will carry the memories of the past 16 years "forever in my heart".
How emotional the farewell was for the entire team was documented in a second video on her channel. It shows the crew surprising their colleague with several surprises.
Actress Lilli Hollunder had come up with something special and organized a video message from TV chef Tim Mälzer (55), who promptly invited Wisbeck to cook together.
Raúl Richter (39) provided the cheerful note: He handed her a bag that supposedly smelled slightly like onions. The reason was a meatloaf sandwich he had eaten earlier, from which some onions had fallen into the gift bag.
One dream still pending
Things are unlikely to be quiet for Wisbeck after the series ends. In an interview with "Bunte" she recently revealed that one wish still remains on her list: She would like to enter the jungle camp once. The format has attracted her for a long time, explained the "Let's Dance" participant from 2013, even though reality TV otherwise only appeals to her to a limited extent.
