Luna Schweiger (29) is making her relationship with show jumper Lucas Wenz public. In an interview with "Gala", the couple gives their first insights. When asked whether it was love at first sight, Wenz explains: "Yes, it happened relatively quickly." According to the magazine, the two met in November. "We didn't want to be without each other anymore - and it has stayed that way to this day", says Wenz. He regularly visits her in Hamburg, while she travels to see him in Elmshorn. "So since we met, we've seen each other almost every day", Schweiger adds.
Both are active in equestrian sports
The two share a passion for equestrian sports. The fact that they both love show jumping makes many things easier. "I'm on the road so much, have less time off than others, and if Luna had no interest or enjoyment in it, that would be difficult, I think", Wenz explains. That's not all they have in common. They are "both family people", Schweiger adds.
Their daily life together doesn't just revolve around the sport, however. "When we're not at the stable with the horses, we cuddle in the evenings with our dogs and watch a movie together", the actress and show jumper recounts. They also meet up with friends or go out together. "Lucas has already met my friends", reveals the eldest daughter of Til (62) and Dana Schweiger (58).
Couple has been dating since December
In February, Luna Schweiger stated in response to an inquiry from "Bild" newspaper that she had "fallen in love in her private life". This is why a planned dating show fell through. "While the format dragged on forever, I simply fell in love in real life. Without a rose ceremony, but with riding boots", said Schweiger. She has been "in a relationship since December". She didn't reveal her partner's name at the time, but disclosed: "He's an equestrian, patient, calm and completely stress-resistant. Anyone who can handle horses can handle me too."
