In early June, Thomas (36) and Lisa Müller (36) had their separation confirmed through their lawyer. Now the 36-year-old dressage rider attended the Bavarian State Parliament's summer reception at Schleißheim Palace. There, the conversation also turned to a possible new partner by her side - and what she wishes for from him.
The guests were received by Bavaria's State Parliament President Ilse Aigner (61), with whom Lisa Müller had completed an internship in 2025. When the "Bild" newspaper wanted to know on site what qualities a man would need to win Lisa Müller's heart, she initially reacted reservedly.
Lisa Müller hesitates at her ex's name
"Oh. I haven't thought about that yet. I think I'm still too attached to... it's still too close right now", she replied. She did not mention Thomas Müller's name.
However, the dressage rider didn't leave the topic without an answer after all. A little later, she became more specific and revealed what matters to her in a man: "The man must have humor. And charm. Character and that vibe are crucial for me."
Accompanied by her best friend
Lisa Müller did not appear at the reception alone. By her side was her "very best friend" Michael James Murphy (38), whom she was taking out for the last time as a bachelor that evening, according to her own words. "He's getting married on Saturday", she explained to the "Abendzeitung".
Separation after 17 years together
Thomas and Lisa Müller made their separation public in early June 2026, after 17 years together. The separation was confirmed at the time through a brief legal statement from media lawyer Christian Schertz, the couple's attorney. It stated: "The couple separated amicably some time ago. No further statements will be made. I ask that you respect my clients' privacy and refrain from further inquiries."
