Gordon Ramsay (59) is becoming a grandfather for the first time. His daughter Holly Ramsay (26) announced on Saturday, June 20, on Instagram that she is expecting her first child. The baby's father is Holly's husband, Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty (31).

Alongside a photo showing the couple smiling lovingly at each other with Holly holding her baby bump to the camera, the 26-year-old wrote: Baby Ramsay-Peaty coming December 2026. She also revealed the baby's gender: We can't wait to meet our little girl.

A completely over the moon grandfather

Gordon Ramsay couldn't resist publicly expressing his joy in the comments. Congratulations to you both, sending so much love, Dad, the chef wrote, immediately announcing how he intends to approach his new role: I'm going to be a completely over the moon grandfather, especially this Christmas.

The rest of the clan and celebrity companions also joined the well-wishers. Holly's younger sister Tilly Ramsay (24) cheered: Best news ever. Victoria Beckham (52) and her son Romeo Beckham (23), who were both among Holly's wedding guests last year, also sent their congratulations - the designer with an effusive Congratulations!!!!!!, Romeo with a series of heart emojis.

It will be the second child for Adam Peaty

For Adam Peaty, this is not his first child: The swimming star is already father to a five-year-old son named George, whom he had with his former partner Eirianedd Munro. But for Gordon Ramsay, the baby girl expected in December will be his very first grandchild - even though the chef himself is a father of six children.

Together with wife Tana Ramsay (51), he has, in addition to Holly, daughter Megan (28), Holly's twin brother Jack (26), daughter Tilly (24), as well as sons Oscar (7) and Jesse (2). Since Holly has professionally followed in her father's culinary footsteps, a third generation might even be growing up in the kitchen.

The happy news comes just under half a year after the couple's wedding. Holly and Peaty tied the knot on December 27 at Bath Abbey in Bath, England.
