Laura Maria Rypa (30) has to say goodbye to her dog Nala. The influencer makes the pet's death public on Instagram. Alongside several photos of a kind of altar, she writes: Those who are loved never die. They just go on ahead.
After Collin, she was our second family dog, but for us she was so much more, Rypa notes in her post. Nala was an incredibly loving, calm soul who loved to cuddle and had always been an integral part of the family.
A towel as a final gift
As Rypa further describes, she gave her dog something very personal as a farewell: the first towel of her now three-year-old son Leano from her relationship with Pietro Lombardi (34). Somehow it was a beautiful thought for me that she would take something on her final journey that carries so much love and family within it, she explains her gesture.
Thank you for all the years together, for your loyalty and for making our home a little warmer every day, Rypa finally concludes her post. Farewell, my Nala. You will forever have a place in our hearts. Safe travels, little mouse.
The content creator also showed her grief in her Instagram story. It breaks my heart, she reported there in tears. Her dog is scheduled to be cremated on Wednesday, and she wants to withdraw from social media for the time being.
Not the first loss
Numerous condolences quickly gathered under the post. Pietro Lombardi, with whom she has another son, also reacted with a crying emoji to his former fiancée's farewell post.
For Laura Maria Rypa, this is already the second goodbye to a pet within a short time. About a year ago, her rabbit Bounty died. Back then, she also addressed her community in tears: For me, this is really, really terrible. You know, I love animals more than anything. Every animal equally. No matter if the animal was there for just one day or three years. Overall, Rypa lives with five dogs.
