Emma Heming-Willis is celebrating her 50th birthday and using the occasion to share personal insights. On Instagram, the wife of Hollywood star Bruce Willis (71) published a thoughtful post - supplemented by a humorous video from her husband. In it, the former actor can be seen singing "Happy Birthday" after taking a breath from a helium-filled balloon.
Heming-Willis appears optimistic: "Today is my big 5-0. And I have to say: I'm ready for this new decade and everything it has to offer." At the same time, she reflects on the past years and describes them as challenging. "My 40s were difficult, but I'm proud of how far I've developed as a wife, mother, caregiver, and advocate", she explains further. She particularly emphasizes her social commitment: "I'm also proud of the work we're doing through the Emma & Bruce Willis Fund and what lies ahead of us." With this Instagram post, Heming-Willis simultaneously contradicts widely documented information that she was born in 1978.

Alongside the video, Heming-Willis also published a joint photo with her husband, in which both are wearing birthday hats. In recent years, she has increasingly taken on the role of caregiver: The actor was initially diagnosed with aphasia before he withdrew from the film business in 2022. A year later, the family announced that Willis had received a diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia (FTD).
In her birthday post as well, Heming-Willis uses her reach to raise awareness of the disease and support those affected. "Together we're raising awareness of FTD, supporting caregivers, and advancing education and research. At the beginning of this new chapter, for my birthday I wish for a future where families facing dementia receive more support and resources, experience less stigma, and have every reason to hold on to hope", she writes.

Demi Moore (63) also speaks up on Heming-Willis's birthday. Bruce Willis's ex-wife shares on Instagram two photos of herself wearing a cap and presenting products from Emma's wellness brand. Moore directs loving words to Heming-Willis: "I'm taking time today to celebrate Emma Heming-Willis on her birthday!", she writes. "I'm so proud of you and proud to count you as family. You are so loved!"
