A doctor has not only ordered Ekaterina Leonova (39) to stop dancing, she is also only allowed to consume baby food and tea for several weeks. The professional dancer, who became known throughout Germany through the popular RTL show "Let's Dance", reports this on Instagram.

She wanted to "give a brief sign of life", Leonova wrote in a story on the social media platform. The dancer reported alongside a photo showing her with reddened cheeks: "I'm feeling a bit better, but I really have to be careful." For at least three weeks, she is not allowed to participate in dance shows, workshops are okay with restrictions. Additionally, Ekat, as she is also affectionately called by fans, wrote that she wants to "sleep constantly". She suspects this is due to the antibiotics she is taking.

Three weeks of only baby food and chamomile tea

For now, there is only baby food and chamomile tea for her, she also reported. Shortly afterward, she corrected a misleading statement from the story and clarified that her "diet" will also last around three weeks. "I already can't take it anymore", she noted with a crying-laughing emoji.

Apparently, Leonova was only recently operated on. She had been to the dentist, she had already shared in March in a story. "An urgent surgery is necessary", she wrote at the time. And further: "First, however, I have to wait for the documents and then for the response from the insurance company." She left open at the time what specific procedure it was about.

It would be the second surgery within a few months. In December, Leonova had a mole on her face removed for medical reasons - her famous "trademark" on her right cheek. Ekat shared that the mole "had been developing". She urged her Instagram followers to take skin changes seriously and to get checked regularly.
