Jack Osbourne (40) is currently facing criticism. The son of the late Black Sabbath legend Ozzy Osbourne (1948-2025) posted photos on Sunday of himself and his wife Aree Osbourne at the UFC event on Instagram, which took place on the grounds of the White House. He wrote: "The ultimate date night! UFC Freedom 250."

Negative reactions to the post

Critical voices quickly accumulated on social media. One user expressed being "shaken" by Osbourne's attendance at the event, for which US President Donald Trump (80) had an arena for cage fights erected in front of the White House. Many users let Osbourne know that they would be unfollowing him. Some followers reminded Osbourne of the Black Sabbath song "War Pigs", which critically addresses war. Another wrote: "This is so sad, your father would be so disappointed!"

Many stars declined the invitation

The event had already attracted attention beforehand. "UFC Freedom 250" was held on the South Lawn of the White House and was part of the celebrations for the 250th anniversary of the United States. At the same time, Trump's 80th birthday was also celebrated. Numerous prominent guests attended the event, including comedian Shane Gillis, WWE champion Roman Reigns, and entrepreneur Mark Zuckerberg.

Podcaster Joe Rogan and Paramount chief David Ellison were also on site. Other well-known figures such as Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Tom Brady, and Adam Sandler, however, declined to attend, even though they had been personally invited by UFC chief Dana White.
