Emergency responders carried Kim Scott (51), the ex-wife of rapper Eminem (53), out of her home in the U.S. state of Michigan on Saturday evening and transported her to a hospital. According to reports from the U.S. outlet "TMZ", the emergency call came in around 8 p.m. Published footage shows emergency personnel pushing Scott on a stretcher out of her residence in the town of Chesterfield and loading her into an ambulance. According to the report, paramedics then took her to McLaren Macomb Hospital.

According to "TMZ", the original emergency call was logged as "unconscious/fainting". The document lists the type of call as a "bleeding or laceration". In addition to paramedics, local police also responded. What actually triggered the emergency response remains unclear. There is currently no confirmed information available regarding her current condition or the cause. The Chesterfield Police Department only confirmed that officers responded to Scott's residence.

Multiple recent legal headlines

This is not the first negative story for Kim Scott this year. In May, she was arrested after allegedly ramming a parked car, according to Chesterfield authorities. The charge: driving under the influence of alcohol. In June, the presiding judge temporarily issued arrest warrants because Scott had missed court dates in the case. These were later withdrawn.

Regardless of the still-unclear circumstances of the current emergency response, Kim Scott has already endured severe crises in the past. In 2021, she was taken to a hospital following an alleged attempt to take her own life. Her tumultuous relationship with the rapper, whom she married and left twice, was marked by separations, reconciliations, and public conflicts over the years.
