Brooklyn Beckham (27) and Nicola Peltz Beckham (31) are celebrating their sixth engagement anniversary with a flood of public love messages. On Instagram, the oldest son of David (51) and Victoria Beckham (52) and his wife nearly outdid each other on Tuesday with romantic words.

In his post, Brooklyn Beckham recalled the moment of their engagement in 2020. "Six years ago I asked my best friend to marry me. You are my girl, my beautiful wife and my whole heart", he wrote alongside a joint photo from an event in March. "Every day with you feels like the best adventure, and I still can't believe I get to spend my life with you." His wife makes "everything brighter, funnier, sweeter and more magical", simply by being herself. "I can't wait to laugh, dream and stay young with you forever", Beckham gushed further. "I love you more than words can say, Nicola."

"Forever and always my best friend"

Nicola Peltz Beckham naturally didn't leave those words unanswered. In the comments, the American model affirmed: "I couldn't possibly love you more. You are my world, my rock and my soulmate. I love you a million times over and I love being your wife. Thank you for loving me so perfectly."

And of course she also dedicated her own post to her husband. "I can't believe we got engaged six years ago today. I feel like I've known you my whole life, you're my best friend and my eternal love in one", the 31-year-old wrote alongside a private snapshot. "You are the kindest man I've ever met and I'm so happy I get to spend my life with you. Thank you for being your magical self."

Beckham in turn commented on his wife's post briefly and lovingly: "You are forever and always my best friend."

Public rift with the Beckhams

As in the past, the couple is thus openly celebrating their romantic happiness in front of their millions of followers. Brooklyn Beckham also made the engagement public on Instagram in July 2020 after around eight months of dating, and the couple married on April 9, 2022.

The wedding is considered among other things to be a trigger for the simmering conflict between Brooklyn Beckham and the rest of his family that has lasted for years. In January, he further escalated the conflict with a sensational statement on social media. In it, he accused his parents of wanting to "control" him and "ruin" his relationship. Additionally, his family had "treated his wife disrespectfully".

David and Victoria Beckham, who also have children Cruz, Romeo and Harper, on the other hand are holding back with negative statements about their son. Just on Father's Day, both shared family photos from earlier years on Instagram including Brooklyn. "Being a father is my most important job", the former professional soccer player emphasized.
