The candidate field for the seventh season of "Beauty & The Nerd" is complete: ProSieben introduced the nine beauties on Wednesday who will compete against their own clichés starting August 27. The composition is notable, as the beauty team also includes two men.
One of them is Gino Bormann (38). The Berlin drag artist has already appeared on "Prince Charming" and "Kampf der RealityAllstars." According to ProSieben, he is the first queer man in the show's history. "I'm skinny, super nice, attractive, adorable," he describes himself. He has invested considerably in his appearance, from nose surgery to liposuction to Botox. In the villa, there's one thing he's especially reluctant to give up: his 13 hours of sleep per day.
Return to Television After Long Break
The second man in the group is Angelo Carlucci (37), a model, actor, and influencer from Cologne. He became known through "Berlin - Tag & Nacht," after which he largely stayed away from television and is now celebrating his return. He hopes to take away experiences from the format that everyday life doesn't provide.
The two men follow in the footsteps of Max Bornmann, Chris Broy, and Salvatore Vassallo, among others, who also participated as beauties in previous seasons.
Familiar Faces from Reality TV
Among the women in the beauty field is Tara Tabitha (33) from Vienna. She brings experience from numerous shows and considers herself the self-proclaimed "Queen of Reality TV." Makeup, fashion, and cosmetic procedures are part of her routine, but she sees her real strength elsewhere: "My beauty superpower is empathy!"
Influencer Vanessa Schmitt (30) from Bruchsal claims to rely on naturalness, even though Botox, hyaluronic acid, and extensions are involved. The ex-fiancée of "GZSZ" actor and "Are You The One? Realitystars in Love" contestant Raúl Richter was featured on the cover of "Playboy" in 2024. She has packed a copy as a gift for her nerd.
Jennifer Degenhart (28) from Emsland is also known from several reality formats; she met her partner Marvin Kleinen on "Are You The One? - Reality Stars in Love." Elaborate styling is routine for her: "Even when I go shopping, I get all dolled up."
From "Love Island" to "Germany's next Topmodel"
Vanessa Grassl (25), a content creator from Lower Bavaria, already appeared on "Love Island" and now hopes for more than just game rounds: "I expect a special experience, new friendships, and maybe true love."
Pegah Parastar (33) works as an office assistant and influencer in Munich, regularly attends red carpet events, and makes no secret of her preference: "I love Botox!" At the same time, she emphasizes that beauty begins with charisma and warmth for her.
Model Mareike Beluga from Berlin, who lists her age as "forever 25," used to play basketball at a professional level and placed 13th on "Germany's next Topmodel" in 2021. Jessica Zemer (24) from Hesse puts the cost of her procedures at 50,000 euros and explains her participation as curiosity about the other side: She wants to understand why some people are so passionate about their hobbies.
Six Episodes Starting August 27
The network had already presented the eight nerds in July; their areas of interest range from wrestling to cosplay, gaming, and survival. Both sides compete against each other in mixed teams, with brains and creativity being key according to ProSieben. In addition to a prize of 50,000 euros, a makeover by designer Kilian Kerner awaits the nerds.
The six episodes will air starting August 27, Thursdays at 8:15 PM on ProSieben and free on Joyn.
