Giovane Elber (53) has become a grandfather for the first time. The former FC Bayern Munich star announced on Instagram that his daughter Camilla gave birth to a boy. "Having children is wonderful, and having grandchildren is even more beautiful. Welcome to our world, Luigi, and congratulations to the parents", he wrote, revealing the baby's name.
In one photo, Elber can be seen with his wife Cíntia on a sofa. She is holding little Luigi on her lap. The former soccer player himself was also allowed to hold his grandson. He looks down at the baby, who is nestled on a white blanket. A third photo shows the grandparents with their daughter and her partner. Everyone is beaming at the camera while the baby is apparently sleeping in his grandmother's arms.
Giovane Elber made his daughter's pregnancy public in the spring. In addition to Camilla, he also has a son, Victor, with his wife.
