Menowin Fröhlich (38) just celebrated the biggest success of his music career, and now personal happiness follows: The "DSDS" winner became a father again. His partner Ronja gave birth to a baby girl on July 16, who bears the name Mavie-Soleyn. The singer revealed this in an interview with RTL.
Actually, the little one wasn't expected to arrive until August, but she couldn't wait any longer and announced her arrival in mid-July. The baby weighed 2,400 grams at birth. That it would be a girl and what her name would be had already been revealed by Fröhlich beforehand.
The joy about the new addition is evident in the singer. "I'm happy that she's healthy. We've always wanted a child together and our wish has come true," he told RTL. Even before the birth, he had spoken of a truly desired child: "It already feels really good."
Ninth Child for the Singer
With Mavie-Soleyn, a large blended family continues to grow. For Fröhlich, it's already his ninth child. Five are from his previous relationship with ex-partner Senay, three more from another relationship. The girl is now the first child together with Ronja. For him, this completes a circle, the 38-year-old indicated. This child is "the final step for a completely new life," he told RTL.
First the Title, Then the Baby
Musically, things went well for Fröhlich this year. On his third attempt, he secured victory on May 9 on "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" and has since been able to call himself "Superstar 2026". On the RTL finale stage, the singer dropped to his knees after the announcement and cried tears of joy.
The road there was long. Fröhlich first participated in the casting show in 2005, and in 2010 he lost in the finale to Mehrzad Marashi (45). This time, Fröhlich actually only accompanied his daughter Jiepen to the casting in Cologne, but was spontaneously asked by Dieter Bohlen (72) to audition again. Fröhlich is also known from reality TV, including "Promi Big Brother" and "Sommerhaus der Stars". After turbulent years and many headlines, the musician now seems to have found his place both personally and professionally.
