The start date for season six of "Are You The One? Realitystars in Love" has been announced: The dating show will be available on RTL+ starting August 12. The date was announced via the show's official Instagram account, which published the post together with the profile of "AYTO" host Sophia Thomalla (36).
RTL already revealed in spring which singles will be looking for love this time. 20 male and female candidates are moving in together for the new season. The most prominent name in the cast is probably Raúl Richter (39).
From Daily Soap to Reality TV
From 2007 to 2014, he played Dominik Gundlach on the RTL daily soap "GZSZ", followed by appearances on "Ich bin ein Star - Holt mich hier raus!" (2020), on "Sommerhaus der Stars" (2024), on "Villa der Versuchung" (2025), and most recently on "The 50" (2026). In the previous season of "Are You The One? Realitystars in Love", Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht (34) had the role of the celebrity draw.
Richter explained in an RTL statement why he chose a dating show in particular: "In real life, it's difficult to meet people." He continued: "On dating apps, I was always reported as fake." Apparently, restraint is not to be expected from him in the villa. "I like to draw the group to me and take the lead", the actor announced. Earlier this year, he publicly announced his separation from his fiancée Vanessa Schmitt after seven years together.
Up to 200,000 Euros Await the Perfect Couples
The game principle remains unchanged: If all participants find their "Perfect Match", the group wins up to 200,000 euros together. The cast is not lacking in reality experience. In addition to Richter, Daymian Weiß ("Willkommen bei Familie Weiß"), Marwin ("Temptation Island VIP"), Germain ("Are You The One?"), Fabi ("Too Hot to Handle"), Bennett ("Bachelor in Paradise"), Brian ("Die Bachelorette"), Cansin and Johannes (both "Make Love Fake Love") are competing. In addition, Robin Njie joins as a wildcard, the brother of former "Realitystars in Love" contestant Kevin Njie.
