Gary Barlow (55) is finding it hard to say goodbye to the "The Circus Live - Summer 2026" tour with Take That. From late May to early July, he was on stage with Mark Owen (54) and Howard Donald (58) in the UK and Ireland. More than two weeks after the final concert on July 4, he reflected in an Instagram clip. "I've been trying to make this video for a couple of weeks now, and it hasn't been easy. I have to say, this tour has thrown me off a bit", the singer said.
Barlow explained that the end of a tour always means a bit of a downer for him. This time, however, the feeling was particularly strong. "I don't know if it's because it felt so special to bring 'The Circus' to the stage again, and that the show was so well received. But since the end of the tour, it feels like I've completely fallen into a hole." Barlow explained that he wanted to reach out to his fans to see if they were also struggling with what's known as "Post Tour Blues".
But he also looked ahead. "Thank you so much to everyone who was there, and we'll see you on the next leg, which won't be long now", he announced. Currently, the group is finishing the new album. "And we're really looking forward to the end of the year and presenting some of these new songs to you", he gave an outlook. "It's going to be a wonderful year. I'm convinced of that."
New Album Planned for Late 2026
For Barlow, Owen, and Donald, it was an eventful year. In January, the three-part Netflix documentary "Take That" was released, and in May, the "The Circus" tour started - a revival of the concert series of the same name from 2009. In total, the band played 17 shows. In addition, Take That already released the singles "You're A Superstar" and "Sweet July". The group's tenth studio album is scheduled for release in late 2026.
Take That is now a trio. Jason Orange (56) left the band in 2014. Robbie Williams (52) is also no longer an official member, but has occasionally performed with the group again in the past.
