Relief for Jeremy Clarkson (66): As the host revealed to the British "Sunday Times", his prostate cancer is in remission.
Clarkson made his illness public in the fifth season of his Amazon Prime series "Clarkson's Farm". In the season filmed in 2025, he confided in his Diddly Squat employees Charlie Ireland and Kaleb Cooper that he had been diagnosed with an "aggressive" form of cancer - but he didn't reveal where the tumor was located. Now it's confirmed: It was prostate cancer.
Before he announced the news about his illness, Clarkson already hinted on Instagram that the final episodes of the current season of "Clarkson's Farm" wouldn't be easy. "Normally we try to make the show bucolic, charming and joyful", but the last two episodes were none of that. "They're difficult to watch."
A Treatment with Complications
The treatment didn't go smoothly. As the former "The Grand Tour" host described, he had to wear a catheter at times. There was also a dangerous incident: Clarkson took blood-thinning medication for his heart even though he shouldn't have.
Despite these setbacks, the signs now point to all-clear. A prostate test two months ago showed no evidence of cancer. However, Clarkson isn't taking any chances: Regular blood tests are meant to rule out a return of the disease.
"The Happiest Man in the World"
After surviving the health crisis, Clarkson describes himself as the "happiest man in the world". He's using his story to encourage men to get screened.
"If there's just one single person in the world who watches 'Clarkson's Farm' and thinks: 'You know what, I'm going to get myself checked out,' and it gets detected and treated early and that person then lives a normal life, then it was worth it."
