Louis didn't make it: In recent days, Angelina Pannek (34) feared for her beloved French Bulldog, even host Charlotte Engelhardt (47) tried to help. But on Tuesday morning, the influencer announced in an Instagram post the sad news that her dog had passed away.

How painful the loss is for Angelina Pannek

"My Louis, my big boy, my incredibly strong fighter," wrote Angelina Pannek alongside a black-and-white photo of the four-legged friend and several broken heart emojis. "We both fought with everything we had to stay together. In the end, we didn't make it and we were torn apart." No words in the world could describe how painfully she misses him. "I love you forever & even though you're no longer with me, you're still here."

The 34-year-old further emphasized: "You weren't just a dog. You were my first baby. You are and will remain my best friend. I love you, my greatest fighter." Then she thanked her "little glutton" for the 14 years together and assured: "I will think of you every day."

Charlotte Engelhardt's dog donated blood

The French Bulldog suffered from severe anemia and urgently needed a blood transfusion. Following a call on Instagram for a dog that could donate blood to Louis, Charlotte Engelhardt responded. The host, who for many years bore the surname of her ex-husband Paul Würdig (45) aka Sido, also lives in Berlin and has four Bernese Mountain Dogs. Female dog Lu was tested first and was immediately suitable. Last week, Angelina Pannek expressed her gratitude effusively on Instagram: "I can't describe to you in words how grateful I am to her. What kind of woman is this who drops everything and comes."

Charlotte Engelhardt was also among the first to express her condolences to Pannek. "We're thinking of you. You couldn't have done more!!!" Influencer Denise Merten, who participated in "Bachelor" in 2016, also wrote alongside red hearts: "My condolences."

Angelina Pannek, then still Angelina Heger, became known in 2014 through her participation in the RTL show "Der Bachelor." She later got together with the "Bachelor" from 2017 - Sebastian Pannek (39). The couple has been married since 2020 and has three children.
