This love is truly heavenly: Hollywood star Adam Sandler (59) had a sweet message written in the sky for his wife Jackie Sandler (51). The occasion was the couple's 23rd wedding anniversary.
"I love you forever"
An airplane drew a "23", the couple's initials, and a heart in the blue sky. Sandler captured the moment in a photo that he shared on Instagram on Monday. He wrote touching words to his wife: "Happy 23rd anniversary, my love. I love you forever."
Several fans commented that they had seen the plane writing the message over Los Angeles. "We saw this today in Venice!", one user wrote. The couple's oldest daughter, Sadie Sandler (20), also reacted to the post and left several heart emojis.
They met on set
Adam and Jackie Sandler met in 1998 on the set of the comedy "Big Daddy". On June 22, 2003, the two married in an outdoor ceremony at Dick Clark's estate in Malibu. In May 2006, their daughter Sadie was born, followed by their second daughter Sunny (17) in November 2008.
Both have appeared in several of their father's films, including "Hubie Halloween", "Hotel Transylvania", and "Murder Mystery". Jackie Sandler also made guest appearances in her husband's films, such as "50 First Dates", "Grown Ups", and "The Wrong Missy". In 2023, the family appeared together in the Netflix comedy "You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah".
The secret to their long marriage
Back in 2020, Sandler had reminisced on Instagram about his first meeting with his Jackie and penned a passionate declaration of love: "22 years ago, on this day, our eyes met and we fell head over heels in love. I look forward to the next 22 years, my love. I love you, my girl forever." He spoke about the secret to his lasting marriage in November 2025 with the US magazine "People". The key, he said, is that he and Jackie truly enjoy spending time together. "We're very close. We like to talk, like to laugh, like to have fun, and take care of our kids."
