On Saturday, July 4th, American Independence Day was celebrated in numerous locations across the USA. This year, the festivities were particularly grand because it was the 250th anniversary. In 1776, the United States signed the Declaration of Independence on this day. Many prominent faces also traditionally celebrate enthusiastically, and so once again, social media accounts were filled with Stars and Stripes.
Actress Reese Witherspoon (50), for example, posted a smiling photo of herself posing in front of a large U.S. flag. She chose the song "America The Beautiful" by Whitney Houston to accompany it.

Post Malone performed in New York and celebrated his 31st birthday
Musician Post Malone (31) appeared in an image with a flag draped over his head. He was also on duty on Independence Day: Alongside colleagues like Blake Shelton, Salt-N-Pepa and Bebe Rexha, he had a performance at the Macy's fireworks in New York City. The show celebrated both the 50th anniversary of the fireworks and America's 250th birthday. Additionally, the singer had another reason to celebrate: Because he also has his birthday on July 4th.
