George (65) and Amal Clooney (48) are treating themselves to a getaway in Italy. On Tuesday, the couple visited the historic Villa Bragaglia on the island of Capri. Photos published by "People" show them walking arm in arm to the luxurious estate. For their arrival and departure, the actor and the human rights lawyer appropriately used a yacht.

For the outing, the two-time Oscar winner opted for a classic look consisting of a white polo shirt, gray dress pants, and white loafers. Amal Clooney drew all eyes with a halter dress in turquoise, orange, and brown. Fringe adorned the summery boho dress at the waist and on the skirt. A brown handbag and wedges completed the look. Both also wore sunglasses.

Their Italian Home on Lake Como

Capri has been one of the most popular vacation destinations for international stars for years. George and Amal Clooney are also repeatedly drawn to Italy. They have a special connection to Lake Como: There they own Villa Oleandra, an 18th-century estate in the municipality of Laglio that George Clooney acquired in the early 2000s.

However, the family now spends most of their time in southern France. In 2021, the Clooneys purchased an expansive estate there where they live with their twins Alexander and Ella (9). The move was also a conscious decision for more privacy - especially to protect the children. 'I don't want them to constantly worry about paparazzi,' George Clooney explained in an interview with "Esquire" magazine.

In 2025, George and Amal Clooney received French citizenship. Nevertheless, they are at home in many countries. In addition to their estates in France and Italy, they also own properties in England and the USA.
