New addition to the Jordanian royal family is on the way: Princess Iman (29) and her husband Jameel Alexander Thermiotis are expecting their second child. The pregnancy was publicly announced by Queen Rania (55), the princess's mother, on Instagram.

In the photo, which appears like a silhouette due to the backlighting, Iman stands facing her husband. He beams at her while holding the couple's first child, daughter Amina, in his arms. The little girl reaches her hand toward her mother's already quite large baby bump.

Queen Rania: "The grandchildren club is growing"

Accompanying the image, Rania wrote: "The grandchildren club is growing, and we are thrilled for Iman, Jameel, and soon-to-be big sister Amina!"

For Rania and her husband King Abdullah II (64), this means another grandchild. They currently have two grandchildren: Princess Iman bint Hussein - named after her aunt - was born in summer 2024. She is the daughter of Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah (32) and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein (32).

Amina Thermiotis was born on February 16, 2025. The Queen also announced this at the time on Instagram. "My dear Iman is now a mother. We are grateful and overjoyed to meet Amina, the newest blessing to our family", Rania explained in the post. "Congratulations Jameel and Iman - may God bless you and your precious little girl", she wished the new parents.

The Queen did not reveal in her post exactly when the third grandchild is expected.
