On July 4th, Sharon Osbourne (73) would have been married to her late husband Ozzy Osbourne (1948-2025), who passed away last year, for 46 years. Instead of celebrating together, the British TV personality shared a moving message on Instagram on this day - along with a photo of two intertwined hands.

"Today would have been our 46th wedding anniversary. Instead, it's a celebration of a love that even death couldn't diminish", Sharon Osbourne wrote alongside the photo. She continued: "I miss your hand in mine, but I carry your love with me, with every step. Forever my husband. Forever my heart."

Celebrities Offer Comfort

Numerous celebrity friends commented on the post. Singer Nicole Scherzinger sent "all my love". "Dancing with the Stars" judge Carrie Ann Inaba also commented: A digital picture frame of hers randomly selects photos - and often lands on an image showing Sharon and Ozzy holding hands. For her, a symbol of an "eternally beautiful love".

Ozzy Osbourne, frontman of Black Sabbath for decades, passed away on July 22, 2025 at the age of 76. "It is with more sorrow than mere words can express that we must report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne left us this morning", the family announced in a statement to "People" magazine at the time. He was "surrounded by his family and by love".

Farewell Concert Shortly Before Death

Just a few weeks earlier, Ozzy Osbourne had taken the stage one last time. He performed his farewell concert with Black Sabbath on July 5, 2025 in Birmingham, England - the city where the heavy metal band was originally formed.

According to a death certificate obtained by the US magazine, the musician died of cardiac arrest and an acute heart attack; additional causes listed include coronary heart disease as well as Parkinson's disease.

A Love Spanning Four Decades

Sharon and Ozzy first met in 1970, when Sharon's father managed Black Sabbath. They got together in 1979 - the same year Sharon took over management of the musician and encouraged him to pursue a solo career. Shortly after, he landed a hit with "Crazy Train". In 1982, the two married in Hawaii, and the marriage produced children Aimee, Kelly, and Jack. After 35 years together, they renewed their wedding vows in Las Vegas in 2017.
