US actor Josh Grisetti (1981-2026) has passed away. As US media outlets unanimously report, the performer known from Broadway and the series "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel", among others, died at the age of 44. Actor Rob McClure (44) confirmed the death on Instagram. According to him, Grisetti took his own life.

With a broken heart, McClure had to announce that his friend and colleague has passed away, he writes. His thoughts are with Grisetti's wife and his family. "Some of my most cherished memories include moments by his side, when I played his brother on stage for years, when I watched him inspire students while simultaneously reshaping the musical theater program at Cal State Fullerton... and when I had the honor of being his best man." Grisetti's agent Rick Ferrari commented to "Entertainment Weekly". "I am devastated. I cannot say more about it", he stated.

The deceased was primarily known as a theater actor on Broadway and Off-Broadway. He played Nigel Bottom alongside McClure in the hit musical "Something Rotten!". On camera, Grisetti mostly had smaller roles, such as in the series "Nurse Jackie" and the film "The Immigrant". His probably biggest TV engagement was the character Ralph in the fifth season of the popular series "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel".
