The first trailer for 'Jumanji: Open World' has been released: The familiar characters leave their jungle world and emerge in the real world. The theatrical release in Germany is scheduled for December 23, 2026.

Johnson also revealed that the new film contains a special Easter egg intended as a tribute to the late actor that runs through 'every single scene.' 'In case you don't know: It's one half of the pair of dice used in the first 'Jumanji' film,' the actor explained. Johnson concluded: 'Robin, as we like to say: This film is for you.'
Reference to the Original Film
Johnson had already spoken about the special Easter egg beforehand. In a video posted on his Instagram profile, he presented the dice pendant and said: 'This is the die from the original 'Jumanji' film with Robin Williams-as a sign of respect.'
