Poppy Honey Rosie Oliver (24), the eldest daughter of celebrity chef Jamie Oliver (51) and his wife Jools (51), got engaged to her long-time partner Ben. Her mother Jools shared the joyful news on Instagram - also showing off her daughter's engagement ring.

"Our first baby Poppy Honey is getting married", wrote Jools Oliver alongside a series of pictures of the couple. She and her husband are "so excited, proud and happy". She also directed loving words to Poppy's fiancé Ben: "Ben, we all love you."

In her Instagram post, Jools Oliver also reflected on the beginning of their relationship. Poppy met Ben during her time at university. When she took her daughter to her second student apartment back then, she quickly noticed that Poppy was more interested in the young man who had just moved in next door.

"Four years later you've found your soulmate", wrote Jools, adding how much she looks forward to the next chapter in her daughter's life.

Eldest daughter of Jamie Oliver

Poppy Oliver is the eldest of five children of Jamie and Jools Oliver. She studied English Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Leeds and worked in public relations after graduating in 2023.

After university, she traveled through Australia together with her fiancé Ben. Her parents emotionally supported the step into independence - Jools Oliver shared a farewell moment at the airport at the time and wrote how difficult it was for her to let her eldest daughter go.

Jamie and Jools Oliver have been married since 2000 and have, in addition to Poppy, the children Daisy (23), Petal (17), Buddy (15) and River (9).
