Emma Roberts (35) and Cody John got married. According to US media reports, the two actors tied the knot over the weekend. Close friends and family members were in attendance, witnessing the "romantic ceremony" in Sun Valley, Idaho, as reported by "Page Six".
Among the guests was reportedly the bride's famous aunt, Hollywood star Julia Roberts (58), who arrived with husband Daniel Moder (57). Emma Roberts is the daughter of Eric Roberts (70), the brother of the acting star. Aunt and niece are said to be very close.
The celebrity page of the "New York Post" published photos from the wedding celebration. Citing an insider, "Page Six" also reports that it was 95 degrees and the ceremony lasted about 45 minutes. Emma Roberts wore a white chiffon wedding dress with a high leg slit, the groom wore a dark suit. According to the report, the 35-year-old held her son Rhodes' (5) hand as she walked to the ceremony.
Couple was engaged for two years
Emma Roberts and Cody John announced their engagement in July 2024. The actress shared the news with an Instagram post, in which she beamed next to her partner, showing off the ring on her left hand. "I'm posting this here before my mom tells everyone," she wrote alongside the snapshot.
Emma Roberts is known for films such as "We're the Millers" and "Nerve" as well as series like "American Horror Story" and "Scream Queens." John has also been active as an actor in recent years in roles in series such as "NCIS" and "The Rookie."
Reports of a relationship between the two first surfaced in the summer of 2022. Her son Rhodes was born in December 2020 and is from her relationship with her ex-boyfriend Garrett Hedlund (41). She was together with her fellow actor for three years before they separated in late 2021.
