Eight years after tying the knot, Anna Heiser (36) is bringing out her wedding photos again. On Instagram, the wife of Gerald Heiser (40) shared a series of images from their church wedding in Poland in 2018: shots from a photoshoot in a meadow, the couple beaming in front of the altar, and in their wedding car. "Eight years. What God has joined together, let no one separate", she simply wrote.

Anna and Gerald Heiser first met in 2017 on the RTL dating show "Bauer sucht Frau". Anna subsequently moved to join Gerald in Namibia, where he operated a farm. On July 29, 2018, they married in front of 120 guests in Anna's homeland of Poland, naturally also accompanied by cameras. Host Inka Bause was in attendance as well.

Afterwards, the couple celebrated another wedding party on their farm in Namibia. In 2021, their son Leon was born, followed by daughter Alina in 2022.

"The infamous seventh year"

Last year as well, Anna Heiser had commemorated her wedding anniversary. "I never believed in the infamous seventh year. Until it came", she confessed. Prior to that, the couple had spoken openly about their financial problems in Namibia, which had triggered a serious marital crisis.

"Today, seven years after saying 'I do,' I know: Love is not always easy, but it is stronger than any crisis. And when you walk through the darkest days together, the light at the end shines even brighter", she reflected at the time.

Concerns about daughter Alina

In the end, they made a complete fresh start in Anna Heiser's homeland of Poland. The two sold their farm and moved with their children to Gdansk. However, peace and quiet is hardly the case there either. Recently, they were worried about three-year-old Alina, who had to spend an extended period in the hospital.

Although doctors made a diagnosis after about a week, Anna reported in her Instagram story that the prescribed medications were not working for her child. After another doctor's visit, she explained that her daughter would not have to return to the hospital for the time being. At the same time, the family is dealing with water damage in their new home.
